The Kiln offers 4-day summer camps for kids and teens.

Kids Camp (1st-6th grade) camps run from 9am to 12pm.

Teen Camp (7th-12th grade) camps run from 12pm to 3 pm.

Clay Creators : Summer Camp Workshops

Looking to get the kids involved in some creative summer fun this summer? Kids ages 5 and up are invited to The Kiln for a 4-day clay camp! Campers will receive step-by-step instruction from a professional ceramic artist using various techniques to complete projects! All projects will be painted/glazed the same day, and the firing process will begin after our camps ends.

Kids Camp (K-6th): A workshop highlighting the endless possibilities that clay has to offer kids! Throughout camp, we will make 2 projects each day with a provided snack in between. Some of the fun pieces we want to make are clay magnets, slab built pottery, pinched lidded boxes, animal sculpting and more!

Teen Camp (7th-12th): A combination of hand building and wheel throwing techniques will be introduced. Each day we will complete one to two projects, depending on the complexity. Each project will be accompanied by in-depth demonstrations. A few of the projects we will be making are slab built mugs, pinched lidded jars, and luminaries!
